Dwindle 2.0

The goal in the Unwind Creative Technology-developed game Dwindle is quite simple: you have to clear the play area. Orbs that depict a triangle, square or circle will show up in the screen and you have to clear them of the play area. You do that by drawing the corresponding shape on the screen. To eliminate the triangle orbs you draw a triangle, to eliminate the square orbs you draw a triangle, and to eliminate a circle you draw a circle, obviously. There is a catch though – you have to do it fast and you have to do it accurately.

There are several thing to like about this game. Let me tell you what I liked about it. First up, I liked the cartoon-like and colorful graphics. There’s something about their simplicity that struck a cord with me, can’t really explain why. Suffice it to say that I really liked how Dwindle looks.

Next up, I liked that the gameplay is quite amusing – and addictive. As I mentioned above, the goal is fairly simple; in trying to reach that goal I had tons and tons of fun. A game doesn’t have to be complicated to be fun, and this one is incredibly fun. Once you master it, you will find it hard to stop playing the game (or was it just me?).

Must be mentioned here that you can play the game in two modes: action mode and endless mode. In action mode you play at a sped up pace which keeps you on your toes. Once you unlock the endless mode, you can enjoy the fact that it can be played at a more laid back pace.

Moving on, I also liked that the app is universal now. You can play Dwindle on an iPhone, you can play it on an iPod Touch, and you can also play it on an iPad. It’s nice to have options.

Last but not least, I liked that the app is affordable. At the time of writing this its priced at $0.99, which is a lot less than what I spend on coffee for example.

Amazing cartoon-like graphics and exciting, addictive gameplay at an affordable price – that’s what this incredibly fun app has to offer.
